Lovely short video filmed by Emma Worsley from Voluntary Action Calderdale of our Luke and Colin who had met again for the first time since childhood at one of our events.    Luke has sadly passed away since this video was taken, he is always in our thoughts and prayers.

Awards received at the Halifax North East Communities Awards 2019.

BREW & A CHAT  won the Community Involvement Award and

ANGELS CORNER CAFE  won the Award for Contribution to tackling loneliness and isolation.

We thank our Hall Groups and all our volunteers for their outstanding contribution to our Parish and local community.


Fabulous, fun and productive afternoon at the SHABBY-CHIC WORKSHOP hosted by Colin Wright, sponsored by Warley Ward Staying Well and held in St Columba’s Community Hall.


Thanks to all who attended the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Awareness Session for our newly installed defibrillator.  It was a really informative session and well received by all.

Huge thanks to our sponsors the Danny Jones Defibrillator Fund, The Warley Trust, Clifby Works (Mohammed) and Trish Coyle.   Thanks also to Neil Marsay from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service who provided the training session on behalf of  Danny Jones DF.

Many thanks also to the Team at St Columba’s who provided fantastic refreshments/buffet after the event.
